Fluffold Combined Services Addendum

For Baltimore Home Cleaning (BHC) customers scheduling laundry together with a cleaning visit

This Combined Services Addendum (the Addendum) applies when a BHC customer schedules laundry service together with a BHC cleaning visit. By placing a combined order you agree to the Fluffold Terms of Service (the ToS) and to this Addendum. If there is a conflict, this Addendum controls for combined-service matters. All capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the ToS.

1) Scope and eligibility

  • Available to active BHC cleaning clients in good standing, within published service areas.
  • Customers may also book laundry separately from cleaning; in that case, only the ToS applies.

2) Scheduling options shown at checkout

  • Together with my cleaning. We coordinate laundry pick up or delivery with your cleaning appointment.
  • Separate from my cleaning. Laundry is scheduled independently and follows standard ToS rules.

If you choose Together with my cleaning, you may select:

  • Pickup during cleaning. We collect your bagged laundry during your cleaning visit and return it next day.
  • Drop off during cleaning. We pick up laundry the day before your cleaning and return it during your scheduled cleaning visit. We can place the folded laundry in a room you choose.

3) How coordination works

  • One coordination window. Laundry pickup and delivery will be aligned to your cleaning appointment window when feasible. If operational constraints prevent alignment, we will propose the closest available time.
  • Room placement, not put-away. For “drop off during cleaning,” our team may place folded laundry in the room you designate. Cleaners are not responsible for putting laundry into closets, drawers, hampers, or other storage areas.
  • Access. You authorize BHC and Fluffold personnel to enter the premises during the scheduled cleaning window for laundry collection or placement. If access is not available, missed pickup or redelivery fees may apply per the Pricing page.

4) Billing and accounts

  • Single payor option. You may charge the laundry order to your BHC cleaning account on file or to a separate payment method.
  • Combined-service perks. Certain benefits, discounts, or features are only available on combined services. They are not cash equivalents and apply only when both the associated laundry service and the cleaning visit are completed as scheduled.
  • If services decouple. If the cleaning visit is canceled or rescheduled and laundry proceeds separately, the order may be billed at the standalone laundry rates and fees in effect on the Pricing page.

5) Cancellations, reschedules, and decoupling

The following rules apply in addition to each service’s standard cancellation policy.

A. If the cleaning visit tied to a pickup during cleaning is canceled

  • Before we arrive for pickup. We will attempt to reschedule laundry with the new cleaning date or convert the order to a standalone pickup. Standard laundry rates and any posted reschedule or missed-pickup fees may apply.
  • After we arrive and laundry is unavailable. A missed-pickup or lockout fee may apply per the Pricing page.

B. If the cleaning visit tied to a drop off during cleaning is canceled

  • After we have already picked up the laundry. We will deliver to an alternate approved location, deliver on the next available date, or hold for redelivery. Storage, redelivery, or routing fees may apply as posted.
  • If in-home access is not available on the original drop-off date. We may leave the order at your designated unattended location at your risk, or reschedule a redelivery for a posted fee.

C. If laundry is canceled but cleaning proceeds

  • Cleaning will proceed under your BHC cleaning terms. Any combined-service perks for that appointment are void and do not carry forward.

6) Health and safety; bagging and preparation

  • The Health and Safety Certification in ToS Section 4 applies. Laundry must be bagged, labeled, and ready at the start of the appointment window.
  • If laundry fails the certification or is not ready, we may return items unwashed, process unaffected portions, or reschedule. Health and safety fees, excessive pet hair surcharges, and other posted fees may apply per ToS Sections 4 and 7.

7) Custody, risk of loss, and placement

  • Custody. For “pickup during cleaning,” custody transfers to Fluffold when our team collects the bagged laundry. For “drop off during cleaning,” custody returns to you when the folded order is placed at the interior location you designated or at your approved unattended location.
  • Unattended delivery. If you authorize unattended placement, you assume the risk of loss or theft after placement. See ToS Section 5.

8) Service levels and delays

  • Next-day turnaround for combined services is the goal and not a guarantee. Weather, traffic, facility capacity, or safety may require rescheduling. Credits or re-cleans, if any, are handled per ToS Sections 10 and 7.

9) Applicability of each service’s terms

  • Both sets of terms apply. The BHC cleaning agreement governs the cleaning visit. The Fluffold ToS governs laundry. This Addendum sets coordination rules between the two.
  • No agency. Neither service modifies the other’s scope of work, pricing, or liability limits except as stated in this Addendum.

10) Discounts, promotions, and tips

  • Combined-service discounts are applied to the eligible line items only and may be removed if either service is canceled or rescheduled outside the combined window.
  • Gratuities for cleaners are separate from laundry tips and are processed under their respective services.

11) Claims and limits

  • Laundry claims follow ToS Section 9, including timing, documentation, and monetary limits. Placement-related disputes for “drop off during cleaning” are resolved using the appointment logs, photos, and access notes maintained by BHC and Fluffold.

12) Communications and data sharing

  • You consent to Fluffold and BHC sharing necessary order, schedule, access, and contact information to coordinate combined services. You consent to receive operational emails and SMS messages for scheduling and delivery updates. Marketing opt-out choices remain available.

13) Changes

  • We may update this Addendum from time to time. Updates are effective when posted with an updated Effective Date. Continued use of combined services after an update means you accept the revised Addendum.
